The story of Michael Blast

The Michael Blast story began in 2016, when Frenchman Cédric Sylvestre surrounded himself with designers and friends from diverse backgrounds with a shared ambition: to create truly different electric bikes.

From Australia to France, by way of the United States, Canada, and Hungary, this cultural diversity nurtured the brand's identity from the very beginning, giving rise to a world where the electric bike meets motorcycle culture and vintage design.

From 1920s Board Trackers and Café Racers to 1970s Yamaha Chappys... Michael Blast draws inspiration from icons that have left their mark on generations to imagine bikes with an immediately recognizable character.

A philosophy that remains at the heart of the brand: going beyond traditional retro codes, celebrating the personality of each individual, and creating bikes made for those who love to ride differently.

Inspired by legends

Each Michael Blast draws its character from the machines that have shaped history.

From the Board Trackers of the 1920s to Café Racers, through the free and quirky spirit of the small motorcycles of the 1970s, the brand reinterprets these influences to create electric bikes with a style that is immediately recognizable.

It is not about reproducing the past, but capturing its spirit: strong lines, bold details, and that unique feeling of riding a machine with a true personality.

The Good Design Award jury

“You really get the feeling of riding a real motorcycle, but in silence! What an incredible design, a real pleasure to use and even more to look at. The leather grips, the vintage aesthetic, and the well-thought-out features make it a design that clearly stands out in this category. A magnificent ode to vintage motorcycles, revisited with a touch of modern technology, both discreet and elegant. Overall, it’s a truly serious product that performs very well and possesses a real X-factor. Bravo!”
